We’re simply going to transcend and include the virtual, immersive, augmented and gamification landscapes into a new more vital, purpose-driven, life-enhancing vision of Togetherland driven by the Transmedium Production Paradigm. We can do better than simply delivering a simulation, story, a product or game. We can deliver a more beautiful existence that works for all. The time is now….

XR is an emerging umbrella term for all the immersive technologies. The ones we already have today—
augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and mixed reality (MR) plus those that are still to be created.
All immersive technologies extend the reality we experience by either blending the virtual and “real” worlds or by creating
a fully immersive experience.

Although the description above does include the clause about ‘those that are still to be created,’ it is focused on immersive technologies alone so let’s look at what that means:

Immersive technology refers to technology that attempts to emulate a physical world through the means
of a digital or simulated world by creating a surrounding sensory feeling, thereby creating a sense of immersion.

The Wave of Novelty

Togetherland and the Transmedium Paradigm are emergent, novel and transcend/include in nature. We love simulated worlds and we love the world as it is, and we love them both, and we love them combined in infinite ways. In this, let’s have some fun and coin another new word, XRI, which includes XR and transcends it, delivering something even more amazing!

XRI

Infinite Reality (XRI) compared to mixed or extended reality, is an emerging umbrella term for all technologies (hence mediums) which weave together to create an experience (immersive, real, imaginary, augmented, magickal, etc etc etc) that is greater than the sum of those technologies. What we have with XRI is not simply immersive technologies– it’s a portal to the impossible, experiencing our essence as an infinite awareness.

Through the portals of Transmedium Production, XRI, and Regenerative Filmmaking, we will be living and co-creating the story and reality of social transformation through concerts, events, films… through VR, AR, Laser Projection Mapping events, IMAX, social media, Blockchains, operas, businesses, education, alternate reality games, flashmobs, TV, activism, and so much more. Togetherland will evolve infinitely and invite all beings to come and be a part of authoring ‘our story, and our world’… This is truly a global set of events which transcend boundaries and catalyzes cooperation, healing and collective innovation. This is how we play and entertain, celebrate and co-create our way to a more beautiful existence and for example attend to ALL of the SDGs as an interconnected living system.

XRI is therefore the event horizon of humanity’s evolution; from story-creation, to innovation, from new physics to gamification to social transformation, and far beyond. This is a doorway into the world we know is possible and that we can dream together. Once Togetherland is initially and officially launched, the story (like inflation in physics) blooms and expands, like the Universe itself has apparently been doing. And humanity can tune in, turn on and consciously co-create the unfolding real-time experience we want.
